Austin Court offers the architectural versatility to create both modern and classical backdrops in a quiet central Birmingham location for a range of filming projects.

Tucked away behind the main bustle of the city centre, Austin Court sits in a private courtyard surrounded by foliage and cloaked in charm and is hireable both day and night.

The historic Grade II listed venue offers a highly adaptable range of interconnecting spaces with period features, canal views and the appeal of natural light.

  • Day Hire Time: 8 am to 5 pm
  • Evening Hire Time: 6 pm to 11 pm
  • Late/Early Opening: from 11 pm to 7 am (subject to availability and supplement)

Kingston Lecture Theatre

Our tiered auditorium comes readily available with comprehensive AV and technicians to create personalised branding and adaptable lighting around the stage.

Recommended for: University lectures, TED Talk-style events, cinema scenes, conferences, senior school teaching room.

Lodge Rooms

Our flexible interconnecting Lodge Rooms offer our largest flat-floored space with high ceilings, period features and views over the canal. They’re ideal for set building or for use in its existing aesthetic to showcase women in engineering.

Recommended for: Award dinners, restaurant-style scenes, small conferences, academic events.

Waterside Room

Offering a beautiful beamed ceiling and exposed red brick walls with double doors opening out directly onto the canal, our Riverside Room is perfect for filming and photography alike.

Recommended for: Fashion photoshoots, drinks reception scenes, news broadcast, advertising campaigns.
