What is the capacity at Austin Court?
For seated wedding meals we can accommodate a maximum 120 guests
For a standing evening reception we can accommodate a maximum 150 guests
For a wedding ceremony our lecture theatre holds maximum 150 and the waterside room max 80

Is it more expensive to get married at Austin Court on the weekend?
No, we encourage couples to get married at the weekend as we are more likely to be able to offer exclusivity during these times. Prices remain the same whether you hold your wedding in the week or at the weekend.
Can I hold my civil ceremony at Austin Court?
Yes, the venue has two rooms licenced for civil ceremonies (Kingston Lecture Theatre & Waterside Room), you will need to book and pay the registrar in addition to your Austin Court booking

How do I secure my wedding at Austin Court?
To secure your booking at Austin Court you will be required to sign a booking contract and pay £1000 deposit. You can then set up a payment plan if you wish. Your booking must be paid in its entirety no later than 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.
Can I provide my own catering?
External catering is permitted please ask your wedding co-ordinator for dry hire terms and conditions. However, we do not have a kitchen on site and our contracted caterers Amadeus provide top quality catering and seamless service. For these reasons we advise against external caterers.
Are fireworks/open fire permitted on the premises?
I am afraid we do not permit the above activities.
Can I provide my own entertainment e.g. DJ/Band?
Yes, we do recommend site visits and require PAC test and PLI certificates.
How do I make an appointment to view Austin Court?
We host dedicated wedding open days 4 times a year and encourage couples to attend these where possible. Please see flyer for details of our next open day. If you make an appointment on normal day the venue will not be set for a wedding and spaces you can view will be limited.
